Ided Oren is taking over the kitchen at Borough Wines in Kensal Rise from 22nd August, cooking a medierraean menu on Wednesdays to Sundays untl late October. Oded has been popping up around London for several years, and his food is fantastic. The ox cheek is a particular favourite, and there will also be lots on the menu for vegetarians and vegans.
The 1821 Cicchetti & Gin Bar is a four week pop-up at 147 Bethnal Green Road, serving cicchetti or small Italian snacks with cocktails featuring gin, and Luxardo cherry liqueur. It opens on Wednesday 15th August, and will then be open Wednesdays to Sundays through to 8th September. There will also be events through the run - see their Instagram page for more information.

Burger champs Planet Patty have taken over the kitchen at the Duke's Head in Highgate, serving their burgers daily til the end of August. The concept is burgers inspired by the world's flavours, including Italian and Asian touches - and American of course. They will also be serving wings - perfect pub food!
Aidan Brooks' Eleven98 Pop-up continues its mini summer tour of Hackney with a dessert-only dinner in the garden of Balcone in Victoria Park Road on Wednesday 1st August 2018. Tickets are £40, which gets you 5 dessert courses, based entirely on Hackney-sourced produce. Bring a sweet tooth!
Aidan Brooks' Eleven98 supper club makes a second appearance for July at the 119 Cafe at 119 Lower Clapton Road in E5, serving up a tasting menu of courses based where possible on local growers and suppliers. Tickets are just £55 - go and treat your tastebuds!
Night Tales is back for summer 2018 with a bar, garden, night club and music venue, and a Japanese Izakaya style grill, ‘Fat Baby’ with chef Greg Round, formerly of Umu. It opens on Friday 13th July in Bohemia Place, off Mare Street, Hackney Central, and will be open all summer, Thursdays to Saturdays. Can't wait to visit!

This weekend Street Feast is opening it's 6th market, Hawker Union, in Silsoe Road, N22. Also called Clarendon Yards in this week's Time Out, it will open on Saturday 30th June and Sunday 1st July as a 'no lease, no licence FOOD RAVE', before opening Fridays - Sundays from 6th July. There are six food traders - inc Fundi pizza, Petare, and Black Bear Burger, as seen on BBC 2's Million Pound Menu. Well done to Street Feast for opening yet another market!
